Frank P. Fiorentino, CPA 

Frank graduated from Boston College with a BSBA degree in Accounting in 1961.  Throughout his 45 years of experience he has worked at international and regional firms as well as private industry until cofounding Mahoney, Fiorentino & Co., P.C. in 1978.  He has a broad range of experience that includes individual, corporate, partnership, fiduciary, estate and gift taxation as well as financial, retirement and estate planning.

 Frank is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants, Wakefield Rotary Club (past president) and Treasurer of The BoSox Club, Inc.

 

Joseph E. Mahoney, Sr., CPA (1938-2013)

 As a cofounder of Mahoney, Fiorentino & Co., P.C., Joe served Wakefield and the surrounding communities since the firm opened its doors over 35 years ago.  After serving in the Army Reserve, Joe graduated from Bentley College and began a career as a certified public accountant that spanned forty-five years.  He was a longtime member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Medford Rotary Club, and Salem Country Club.  Joe was a benefactor to St. Joseph School and Malden Catholic, where he was a three sport all-star in baseball, football, and basketball. 

 Joe’s warmth, sense of humor and spirit will be missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing him.

 

Gordon J. Maloney, CPA, CFP

 Gordon joined the firm in 1986 upon graduating from Bentley College.  He provides the firm’s clients with accounting, auditing, tax and consulting services.  Accounting services include write-up, compilations, reviewed and audited financial statements.  His experience with income taxes includes the preparation of C Corporations, S Corporations, Partnerships, Fiduciary, Estate & Gift, Non-Profit and Individual income tax returns for both federal and state jurisdictions.  Gordon is also a Certified Financial Planner focusing on income tax planning and retirement planning.  His clients include wholesale distribution, manufacturing, warehousing & distribution, construction, medical practices, real estate development and professional services.

 Gordon’s education and memberships include:  Bentley College, BS in Accounting, Boston University program for Financial Planners, Massachusetts Society of Public Accountants, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., Member of Medford Kiwanis (Past Treasurer), Member of Medford Chamber of Commerce (Past Treasurer),  Member of Stoneham Little League Board of Directors (Current Treasurer).

 

Charles H. Mahoney, CPA

 Chuck graduated from Bentley College (now Bentley University) with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 1990.  In 1993, he was licensed to practice as a Certified Public Accountant by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and also became a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.  He focuses his responsibilities on closely-held business clients, particularly with their accounting and tax needs. 

 Chuck and his wife Stephanie live in Tewksbury with their two girls.

 

James P. Fennelly, CPA, MSA

 Jim graduated from Westfield State University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and obtained his Master of Science in Accounting from Suffolk University in 2011.  In 2017, he was licensed to practice as a Certified Public Accountant by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and also became a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.

 Jim has been practicing in public accounting since 2008.  He provides the firm’s clients with accounting, auditing, tax and consulting services.  Accounting services include write-up, compilations, reviewed and audited financial statements.  His experience with income taxes includes the preparation of C Corporations, S Corporations, Partnerships, Fiduciary, Estate & Gift, Non-Profit and Individual income tax returns for both federal and state jurisdictions.

 Jim lives in Wilmington with his wife and four children.

 

Tammy L. Page, Office Manager

 Tammy is the office manager at Mahoney, Fiorentino & Co., P.C.  and has been employed with the firm since 1986.  She has worked in the accounting field for over 35 years.  Tammy oversees all of the electronic filing requirements, client relations and general office needs of the firm.
